People say that the best ingredient for cooking something is love. Adding love and much heart into what you do doesn't only apply to cooking.
In doing something like art, you have to draw something inside that no one else has so your work comes out as the best expression of yourself. No one is or will ever be you therefore, be totally yourself in making art.
I believe that every person starts out in life as an artist. Each child instinctively has the inner freedom to express himself in an exact, unpretentious way unhampered by perceptions of society's expectations.
It's only when a child is told "don't do that!" that he learns that there is a right and wrong way to do art. This is not really true.
God made each of His masterpieces, "us" unique and we wer made to shine out to all the world sharing the beauty of what God has placed inside of us and inside our hearts.
Sometimes we don't know who we are we don't know what is actually inside our hearts. This is the time when we need to turn to the one who made us and to listen to what he has to say to us.
Ultimately it's only God knows us well enough and the longing in our hearts can only be answered by Him.
