Easter Joy

I wonder how it felt to be one of those who saw the empty grave? It must have been so disheartening! But then the thought of my beloved Jesus rising would be unthinkable! But remembering Lazarus, maybe not so!

To see Jesus alive again, without all the wounds and scars but the pierced hands would just be in the realms of the spirit and not in the physical world! It's just so unimagineable! That's just what He did on this day! He gave us a peak into the heavens where all our imperfections have faded away! Wholeness, fullness, healed spirits!


Celestial spirit that doth roll
The heart's sepulchral stone away,
Be this our resurrection day,

Isn't it marvelous that Jesus' death has taken away our fear of the unknown? He has gone ahead for us and shown us that on the other side He will be there! He has taken away the sting of sin and death and we have overcome all of these thing with Him!
