An amazing woman is Blessed Mother Mary.
Many times when I am confused what best to do, i think "What would Jesus do?" then sometimes the situation could only happen to a woman. That's when "What would Mary do?" comes in.
She is truly a grace-filled woman that at the age of 14 she could give herself up totally to Gods plan. To entrust your whole future despite probable shame, alienation by everyone, maybe even stoning, is just wow!
It reminds me that if God sends you to it, He will bring you through it. Mary was found pleasing by God in her response. She was blessed by this response and so are we.
Mary, at the time of her "yes" to God could not have known the impact of her response to humankind. Sometimes we think that our choices and actions mean little but i reality they can not just affect you but others in a major way.
Happy birthday today Mama Mary! Thank you for your womanly example of discipleship and great faith. May more and more woman in today's world follow in your steps and draw nearer to the heart of God!
