Let your Light Shine

This is one of my favorite bible verses.  It reminds me that every good thing I do reflect God's light.  The whole verse reads, "Let your light shine before others that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father."  - Matthew 5:16

Whenever something good happens in our lives, like when we get to reach the train just in time before its doors close or when we have the money to buy something we thought we didn't have or when the rain stops just as you leave the building --- we say "thank God!"

The same thing happens when someone does something good for us!

Just the other day, a lady approached me with my train ticket when I didn't know I'd dropped it!  Wow that would've been really hard to lose!  I said, "Thank God!"  I don't know if she was a Christian or not but still she reflected God's goodness to me!

We can find God everywhere there is goodness!   Others can also find Him in us whenever we are kind, or smile, or help others in need...  There are a multitude of ways to reflect His love and mercy!
